4. The screen will not shake like in all other codes. Quit the game and begin another one. In the character selection screen Officer Dick will be replaced by Private Carrera.

These are the manual entry codes. They differ slightly from the original THPS formula, so please read below.
First off, if you save your career after entering these codes, the effects will be saved. Things like turning the blood off is no big deal, but unlocking secrets, and gathering money will. Please beware before using them!
There's 2 ways to enter these. The first is at the wheel menu. Enter it correctly and the wheel will spin. The second is in any paused game. Just enter a level and pause. Then, you'll hold down the R button (Not L like previous versions) and enter the following codes. Perform this correctly and the menu should shake, confirming the entry.
Unlock Everything
Hold R and enter: B, A, Left, Down, B, Left, Up, B, Up, Left, Left

Career Mode Method
The first way to unlock cheats is to beat the game in career mode. You will have to gain 100% on each level to do so. Each subsequent time you beat career mode w/ 100% and a different character, you'll unlock a new code. Read the Level Guides for help if you need it.
The order you get the codes by doing it this way is pre-set. By this I mean that whoever you use in career mode first will unlock Officer Dick, then Skip to Restart and so forth...
Manual Method - Please Read!
The second method is the manual way. This is the same as the first game. Start a game and pause it. Then, hold down the L shoulder button. Hold this button down and enter the manual codes listed below. Here's a key for the letters used below...

By entering these codes manually, they won't always work right away. Kid Mode will change your skater to a kid on the fly, but something that affects the whole level, like Wireframe Mode or Smooth Textures, may require you to exit and reenter the level.
N64 Comments
This section is not complete!
2 things to mention here. If you've played the other versions, you'll find that some codes have changed. There is no level flip code, and Chopper Drop has been replaced w/ the Mat Hoffmann level. On top of that, there's no Private Carrera!
We have used the template from all the other versions in making this document. There are likely going to be some changes and some codes may not transfer over. Other codes like the 10x point multiplier is exclusive to this version. In some cases, codes from other versions may be ported over, but we cannot verify this until we've tested it out. Since we don't have the game, it's difficult to do so. We'll finalize this section ASAP.

Notes on these codes
Most of the codes listed are obvious. Perfect balance gives you, well, perfect balance. However, here are some notes on these codes, as they're not all that plain and simple!

We're not sure which is in the game. They've got the same moves though. Can anyone verify?
Moon Physics
Both Moon Physics and Double Moon Physics can be used together for absurd results. Have fun w/ this one!
Thin Skaters
This is cool. You can enter the code in again and again to keep changing your skater. This is different from the Weight Code, as that will just allow you to create bigger/thinner skaters in the Character Editor. This manual code will affect your character while you play the game.
Kid Mode
This is actually pretty cool. You will skate as a miniature version of the skater. There's an extra bonus here though. You can pull off any move on flat ground. Tony Hawk can perform a 900 on the ground. Kickflip to Indy? No problem. You will still bail normally if you land off a ramp sideways, or smash into a wall, but while skating on the ground, try anything! Try doing a regular move after doing a flip.
Wireframe Mode
This is fun, worth a try, but it's difficult to see, as everything in the game is in white wireframes and no textures. Worth a shot though...
Bonus Levels
As listed above, the 2 extra stages are unlocked through career mode. If you gain all golds with all the characters, you get the very tiny Chopper Drop stage. The real bonus is Skate Heaven, an awesome level giving tribute to many real life locations. You can only unlock this by beating the game at 100% w/ every character.
The N64 version has a bonus level, one from Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX.
PC & Mac Tony Hawk 2 Codes

Final Note
I've tested all the following codes. These codes were originally created for the Playstation and I've ported them over. All of the Playstation codes work here except the Fat/Skinny skaters code. I had to try entering these a number of times though. In some cases you must enter the code in very quickly. Make sure all button presses are distinct. The Double Moon Physics code took me 10 times to get it right...then I couldn't turn it off. It's a real pain, but they do work!

Jetpack Mode
Quite easily one of the coolest codes ever. This will let you ollie into the air, hover, and move around. Hold the Triangle button to hover in place. Press X to use your jetpack, which will let you fly up to the roof! Finally, if you push forward, you can fly around. Awesome!
Skate in THPS 1 Levels
By gaining a gold medal, you will unlock 1 of 3 different levels from the first THPS! The 3 levels are Downhill Jam, Chicago and the Warehouse. Very very cool! Some people have figured out how to gain access to the remaining levels as well (barring SF unfortunately). Please see the PC Editing Page for more info!
Enable Private Carrera
Neversoft designed this game, but the port to the Dreamcast was handled by Treyarch. They ditched Private Carrera for this Trixie character. To unlock her, you must first get all the BTTs (see transfer page) in the checklist in the options menu. This does not include the 2 secret stages. You can enter in the Get All Gaps code though, which will enable her.
Moon Physics
Both Moon Physics and Double Moon Physics can be used together for absurd results. Have fun w/ this one!

Manual Method - Please Read!
The second method is the manual way. This is the same as the first game. Start a game and pause it. Then, hold down the L button. Hold this button down and enter the manual codes listed below. Here's a key for the letters used below...

By entering these codes manually, some won't always work right away. Kid Mode will change your skater to a kid on the fly, but something that affects the whole level, like Wireframe Mode or Smooth Textures, may require you to exit and reenter the level.
Final Note
I've tested all the following codes. These codes were originally created for the Playstation and I've ported them over. All of the Playstation codes work here except the Fat/Skinny skaters code. I had to try entering these a number of times though. In some cases you must enter the code in very quickly. Make sure all button presses are distinct. The Double Moon Physics code took me 10 times to get it right...then I couldn't turn it off.

Notes on these codes

Jetpack Mode
Quite easily one of the coolest codes ever. This will let you ollie into the air, hover, and move around. Hold the Triangle button to hover in place. Press X to use your jetpack, which will let you fly up to the roof! Finally, if you push forward, you can fly around. Awesome!
Enable Trixie
Neversoft designed this game, but the port to the Dreamcast was handled by Treyarch. They ditched Private Carrera for this Trixie character. To unlock her, you must first get all the BTTs (see transfer page) in the checklist in the options menu. This does not include the 2 secret stages. You can enter in the Get All Gaps code though, which will enable her.
Moon Physics
Both Moon Physics and Double Moon Physics can be used together for absurd results. Have fun w/ this one!
Kid Mode
This is actually pretty cool. You will skate as a miniature version of the skater. There's an extra bonus here though. You can pull off any move on flat ground. Tony Hawk can perform a 900 on the ground. Kickflip to Indy? No problem. You will still bail normally if you land off a ramp sideways, or smash into a wall, but while skating on the ground, try anything!
Stats Modifiers
Your character normally maxes out when their stats hit 10. When you have a full special meter though, your stats go to 13. Want a more realistic skating experience? Lower your stats!
Wireframe Mode
This is fun, worth a try, but it's difficult to see, as everything in the game is in white wireframes and no textures. Worth a shot though...
Bonus Levels
As listed above, the 2 extra stages are unlocked through career mode. If you gain all golds with all the characters, you get the very tiny Chopper Drop stage. The real bonus is Skate Heaven, an awesome level giving tribute to many real life locations. You can only unlock this by beating the game at 100% w/ every character. Good luck! PSX Tony Hawk 2 Codes
Cheats in THPS 2 have been laid out differently from the first game. There are 2 ways to unlock most cheats. A good number of these can be found in the options menu after you've unlocked them. Please read the following before attempting to access these codes.
Career Mode Method
The first way to unlock cheats is to beat the game in career mode. You will have to gain 100% on each level to do so. Each subsequent time you beat career mode w/ 100% and a different character, you'll unlock a new code. Read the Level Guides for help if you need it.

This is cool. You can enter the code in again and again to keep changing your skater. You can get them fat enough where you can't really see the screen! This is different from the Weight Code, as that will just allow you to create bigger/thinner skaters in the Character Editor. This manual code will affect your character while you play the game.

Unlock Everything (Master Code!)
This is the supreme code of all time for one of the greatest games of all time. This code will Unlock every level, ALMOST every hidden character (with the exception of Private Carrera. You're still gonna have to earn her by executing every gap in the game.) and you'll unlock all cheats. During your game press Start and pause the game. Then press and hold the LEFT trigger button while you enter:
A, A, A, X, Y, UP, DOWN, LEFT, UP, X, Y, A, Y, B, A, Y, B.
Your screen will shake letting you know you've entered the code correctly. Next, select End Run.
Note* This code will spoil your game. If you're trying to be good and not cheat, this is the code to avoid. Granted, you will still have to find and execute all of the gaps to really beat the game, but this code unlocks the other 90% of the game.

100,000 Easy!:
This is a cool combo. First go to the school. Then go to the pool, don't get in the pool. Head straight for the half pipe and do a Smith Grind on the right pipe. After that jump off the half pipe and do a 360 Shove It or an Impossible onto the ledge and do a Crooked Grind to the end of the ledge and jump off the ledge and do a 360 Shove It/Impossible next do a Boardslide. Then jump from that ledge to the ledge across from the ditch while doing a 360 Shove It/Impossible to a Smith Grind. You can get up to 100,000 points but it all varies with different types of grinds.GOOD LUCK!

How To Get All The Secret Tapes:
Warehouse (Level 1):
From where you start, go through the glass on the right and down that ramp, try to get yourself as far to the right as possible, jump over the pipe and through the secret room hanging above, you should soar right into the tape, if not, go back up the ramp and try again!
School (Level 2):
On the ramp where you start, jump off to the right and go up the large ramp that has a rail next to it, follow it onto the school's roof, jump off the brass platform beside the rail onto the second roof, turn left and grind on the wood stick down onto the ramp, go until the end of the ramp, you'll jump into the tape easily.
Mall (Level 3):
Follow the level to the right until you come to a ramp underneath a sign, you can go around or off of it, jump off the next ramp and try to get to the white pole and grind to the end. Just before you fall off, ollie into the tape.
No Tape On Level 4 (Windy City Slam Competition)
Downtown Minneapolis (Level 5):
Find your way to the truck with a ramp leading up into the glass, jump off the truck ramp and through the glass follow the tunnel out to the roof and find a brown ramp leading into a bowl, get some speed by doing a trick then go straight and off the other brown ramp (not the one you came in on) and jump, the secret tape is in the air, you'll hit it if you have the positioning right, you should land on another buildings roof.
Downhill Jam (Level 6):
Go from the start and grind on the pipes over the water, go left and go up a grey ramp with an arrow on it and grind on the pipe across to the other side, slow down and grind on the pipe to the other section across the path, go up the wall beside the drop and over, then jump up onto the top of the brown part and follow it to the cement part, jump up the wall across the pit again and over, try to speed up and get closer to the right (not all the way over!) and jump as far as you can to the rock formation with four pipes on it, grind on any of them and you'll go right into the tape.
No Tape On Burnside (Level 7)
San Francisco Streets (Level 8):
(This one takes alot of patience, it's probably the hardest to get!) As soon as you start go over the ramp and follow it until the end of, turn left as you get out (look for the donut shop and one of the police cars)and look right, you'll see buildings, go to the last one with a garden in front of it, get some speed and jump off the garden and hold "Up" in the air and try to land on the platform, go up the platform and turn right (watch the edge!) then right again, then right once more onto the roof. Get up on the ramp and go off it and jump as far as possible onto the big structure, the tape is on top. You might not get to it the first couple of times, it's really hard to get! You'll crash through the glass. The tape is right at the peak, it's almost impossible, but it can be done!
